Excel

Excel is a spreadsheet application and is part of the MS Office suite. This page is not intended to provide information on the use of this program as most users of Tarsier will probably already be familiar with Excel. Excel can, however, be very useful for packaging data for importing into Tarsier and for receiving data from Tarsier. In some respects, Tarsier was written to take advantage of some of Excel's structure. For example, the numerical value for time in Tarsier corresponds to the numerical value for time in Excel (i.e. a value of 0 is the time Jan 1, 1900 00:00, and adding 1 increases the time by a day).
