Summary
The California Coastkeeper Alliance (CCKA) unifies twelve regional Waterkeeper programs whose mission is to advocate for clean water for communities and ecosystems in California [1]. The CCKA was established in 1999, and their home office is located in San Francisco, CA. The regional Waterkeeper programs include:
- Humboldt Baykeeper
- Inland Empire Waterkeeper
- Klamath Riverkeeper
- Los Angeles Waterkeeper
- Monterey Coastkeeper
- Orange County Coastkeeper
- Russian Riverkeeper
- San Diego Coastkeeper
- San Francisco Baykeeper
- San Luis Obispo Coastkeeper
- Santa Barbara Channelkeeper
- Ventura Coastkeeper
The CCKA is operated by a nine member Board of Directors:
- Liz Crosson, President (Waterkeeper, Los Angeles Waterkeeper)
- Kira Redmond, Vice President (Executive Director & Channelkeeper, Santa Barabara Channelkeeper)
- Garry Brown, Treasurer (Executive Director, Orange County Coastkeeper & Acting Waterkeeper, Inland Empire Waterkeeper)
