Summary
César E. Chávez National Monument, also known as Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz, is a 116 acre [1] National Monument located 32 miles away from Bakersfield, California, and was the headquarters of the United Farm Workers (UFW), and home to César Chávez. The UFW served as a union for farm workers and later became a national voice for the poor and disenfranchised [2].
