This is not the official City of Marina page. This page was created as part of the ENVS 560/L Watershed Systems class at CSUMB to highlight watershed topics within the city.

Background

According to the United States Census Bureau City of Marina, California has a population of 19, 718 with a median age of 35.5 and a median household income of 54, 038. Incorporated in 1975, Marina is 8 miles west of Salinas and 8 miles north of Monterey at an elevation of 48 feet, with the following coordinates: 36°41′04″N 121°48′08″W.
