The Elkhorn Watershed is located in Monterey County, on the central coast of California. It includes the The Carneros Watershed and Elkhorn Slough. There exists some debate on the exact watershed boundaries especially as to where Moss Landing Harbor ends and Elkhorn Slough begins.
