Summary

The 3,409-acre Hearst San Simeon State Park includes the Santa Rosa Creek Natural Preserve, the San Simeon Natural Preserve and the Pa-nu Cultural Preserve. The park is one of the oldest parks in the California State Park system encompassing rocky coastal bluffs with unobstructed views of the ocean and shore [1]. The original Hearst estate created by William Randolph Hearst and architect Julia Morgan originally covered over 250,000 acres in the Cambria, CA coastal area. [2].
