Summary

The Hopper Mountain National Wildlife Refuge Complex is located in the southern part of California's Central Coast region. The complex includes the following National Wildlife Refuges:

Equipment

  • Condor release pens

Visitor Services

  • Hopper Mountain NWR is closed to the public, however they will do guided events no bigger than 40 people[1].
  • Bitter Creek NWR is closed to the public, due to the sensitive nature of the California condor[2].
