  1. Firstly, grab the contents of the screen to an image on the Clipboard:
    1. Look on your keyboard for the key that says "Prt Scr".
    2. It depends on the keyboard, but often the steps are to hold down both CTRL and SHIFT and then press "Prt Scr".
    3. At that moment, whatever was on the screen will now be an image on the Clipboard.
  2. Secondly, paste the Clipboard image to a file:
    1. This varies depending on which image manipulation software you have available
    2. In Adobe Photoshop (installed on CSUMB machines):
      1. Open Photoshop
      2. Select 'File --> New' top create a new image file. Photoshop will automatically size this image file to match your Clipboard image
      3. Select 'Paste'
      4. Optional: Use the Crop Tool in Photoshop to crop out the bit you want.
      5. Save the file, usually as a PNG or JPG if you plan on emailing it.
  3. Thirdly, you may wish to email the image file:
    1. In Eudora:
      1. Start a new message
      2. Drag the image file onto the message
    2. In FirstClass:
      1. What is the easiest way?
