Water Districts

Water districts are responsible for water conservation, replenishment, storage, and/or distribution of water [2]. These districts are established under the California Water Code (Section 34000: California water districts, Section 39000: California water storage districts, Section 30000: County water districts, Section 74000: Water conservation districts, Section 60000: Water replenishment districts).
