A list of some recreational planning initiatives in California's Central Coast region:
- California Coastal Trail (CCT)
- The Condor Trail
- Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail Network
- Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail
- Cuesta to Sespe Trail
- The Pacific Crest Trail (not really in Central Coast region but close enough that it could be linked to Central Coast trails)
