Summary

Pinnacles National Park, located in Hollister, CA, was transitioned from a national monument to a national park in 2013 [1] and encompasses around 26,000 acres of land [2]. Pinnacles National Park is also one of the main habitats for the endangered California Condor and is one of the main sites being considered for the Range of the Condor National Heritage Area.
