Description

"Ramorum blight" is a term used to describe a class of diseases caused by the plant pathogen Phytophthora ramorum. [1] Foliar (leafy) hosts typically do not succumb to Ramorum blight; however, foliar hosts can spread Phytophthora ramorum to oak trees. [2] Oak trees impacted by Ramorum blight are susceptible to Sudden Oak Death (SOD).
