A Model Time Tool in Tarsier is a tool that allows users to control time in the context of a simulation or video rendering.
The tool controls a ModelTime object (reprented by a .tti file.
The left hand side of the tool has buttons that are analogous to a VCR - rewind, stop, play, fast-forward etc.
The middle of the tool has three dates, respectively representing: current, start, and end dates/times of the simulation being controlled.
The right side of the tool has controls that allow manipulation of the simulation time-step.
