The National Map

The National Map is a multi-agency effort to improve and deliver topographic information for the USA.

The National Map includes a geographic data viewer and server hosted by the USGS that provides free and easy access to spatial data for:

  • Elevation
  • Hydrography
  • Transportation (roads etc.)
  • Boundaries
  • Land Cover
  • Aerial imagery
  • Topo (contour) maps
  • etc.
