The California Rangeland Trust, established in 1998, is a land trust that protects the natural habitats and open spaces created by ranches.[1] As of March 2020, the California Rangeland Trust has protected over 342,000 acres of private ranchland in California, including the Flentge Ranch in Monterey County.
