Real-time Biogeochemical Monitoring Network in the Elkhorn Slough

A CCoWS project for the National Science Foundation and Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute

2006-2008

We are working with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute to develop real-time monitoring in the Elkhorn Slough Estuary monitoring freshwater inputs in order to develop a biogeochemical model for the slough.

The final outcome is to determine if we have the technology to develop a real time biogeochemical monitoring program in a hydrologically complex estuary.
