An environmental summary created by the ENVS 560/L Watershed Systems class at CSUMB.
This page is a list of non-native, invasive plants that fall under one of two categories: 1) plant species being actively managed, or proposed for future control by organizations involved in the conservation and restoration of open space in California's Central Coast Region, or 2) plant species recommended for management and observation at a county-wide and regional scales. This list was collated from a number of weed management documents for the California Central Coast Region, all of which are listed in the References section of this page. Information regarding the presence of a species by county was gathered from the Calflora Observation Hotline.
Statewide lists of all invasive plant species found in California can be found at the California Department of Food & Agriculture and the California Invasive Plant Council.
